Mountain Biking Bear Valley Lakes

****   Add a review
#134 of 301 mountain bike trails in Idaho
#7,298 in the world

The Bear Valley Lakes Trail # 179 is a singletrack trail from the road end to Bear Valley Lake. It will work you. It starts out easy and becomes rocky and rough in the middle section and becomes easier again in the upper section. This ride is for advanced riders who like to climb and descend and like rough technical trails. The return trip downhill, however, is a blast. The scenery is outstanding, especially in the alpine area near the lake. There are four trails that fork off the main trail. These may be rideable on a mtn bike for the advanced rider. Take your fishing license and pole.
