I borrowed one of these for racing in 24 Hours of Moab. It is rated at 300 lumens, so about the same as a Light & Motion Stella 300. In the real world, the Stella seems a little brighter, probably due to better optics.
This light is suitable for recreational riding and as a second light for racing, but on its own it is a little underpowered for all out race speeds.
The light gave me zero issues when I used it, and the friend I borrowed it from uses it all the time and he has had no issues.
It comes with a clamp and inserts for either 31.8mm or 25.4mm bars and the clamp mechanism is beautiful in it's simplicity. When bar mounted it can easily be adjust with one hand while riding.
Pros Small and light.
Cord plugs in firmly and stays put.
Includes velco for mounting the battery.
Bar clamp fits tight but can be adjusted or removed in seconds, with one hand.
